RESIDENTIAL RENOVATION, BIRDWELL
PROJECT SUMMARY
This project involved the transformation of a single-storey bungalow into a two-storey home with a full kitchen extension. Completed in 5 months, the renovation included a new roof and gable end, alongside the removal of original ceiling joists, replaced with flooring joists and steelwork to support the added second floor.
The property was fully insulated, rewired, and fitted with a new heating system. A new en-suite bathroom was installed upstairs, while a second bathroom was added on the ground floor. The rear extension created space for a modern kitchen installation, complete with new drainage.
The entire house was plastered, decorated, and carpeted, with new windows, doors, and a glass-banister staircase added to enhance the overall finish. New soffits, fascias, guttering, and downpipes were also fitted to complete the exterior.
